Easy Steps to Remove Dirt and Oil from Face

The human skin tends to produce oil to keep itself hydrated. However when excess oil is produced, it tends to make the skin dirtier and shinny. It also results to the skin pores blocking causing face to develop acne. It is important to note that people have different skins that produce different amount of oil than others. In order to control the excessive amounts of oil produced on the face and get rid of the dirt, the following steps should be followed.

1   1-  Clean Your Face
Washing your face on a daily basis helps you get rid of the oil and dirt that accumulate on the skin. It is important that you identify the best cleansers suitable for your skin type before you can clean your face. Avoid using soaps when washing your face. This is due to the fact that they cause your face to dry making the skin to produce more oil. Use warm water to clean the skin, then using your fingers massage in circular motion the cleanser. Do so until you are sure the dirt, makeup, sweat and oil have been removed. Rinse off the cleanser with warm water and pat dry your face. It is recommended that you wash your face twice in a day, at night and in the morning.

2. Use Toners for Your Face
If you really have hard times controlling the excessive oil production on your face, toners may help you. These toners are of great benefit to individuals who have acne, oily skins, and plugged pores. Toners will help get rid of the dead skin and excess oils that remain on your face after cleansing it. Swab the areas around the chin, nose and the forehead. It is advisable that you apply the toner using cotton or a facial pad after washing your face. Note that toners vary. There are those that exfoliate acne skin, those with anti-inflammatory elements for sensitive skins and those that are for the different skin types. Use of these toners is a good way to increase active elements such as retinoid, exfoliants and antioxidants to your skin treatment.

3. Keep Your Face Free from Dirt
It is essential to keep your face clean all day long. You can do this by not touching it with your hands or other dirty objects. If you continuously touch your face, you risk the spread of bacteria that make your pores become inflamed. If there is need to touch your face, when applying face cream or makeup, ensure you wash your hands thoroughly and dry them. Also try to avoid leaning your face on items that gather skin residue and sebum such as a mobile phone. This will go a long way in helping your skin stay free from dirt and oil.

4. Manage Daytime Skin Dirt and Oil

It is obvious that during the day the skin on your face will be sweaty, oily or even dirt residues will accumulate on your skin; this cannot be overlooked. Use of face pads or even the oil-blotting sheets will greatly play a vital role during this time. It is recommended that you blot the shiny areas on your face with the sheet or the pad. Be keen especially on your forehead, chin nose and other oily areas. Do not clean your face using a discolored pad as you will transfer more oil and bacteria on your face. In case you do not have oil-blotting sheets, you can use tissue paper, toilet seat covers or even cigarette papers. The good thing with these oil-blotting sheets is that they do not wipe out the makeup on your face.  Face cleansing pads can be used to remove the dirt on the face especially for those people who do not wear makeup.

5. Get Rid of Blackheads
Blackheads may occur on the face as a result of the skin pores being blocked by oil or accumulation of dead skin. Most people find themselves with these blackheads and they do not know what to do about them. There are however, many ways to eliminate them. Depending with your skin type, find the best facial cleansers to use when cleaning your face. If you have sensitive skins, buy skin care products containing salicylic acid. If on the other hand your skin is not sensitive use products with benzoyl peroxide. How to get rid of blackheads is not complicated provided you choose the right products to use. Note that skin care products are sold as tropical creams or face washes. If your face is not responding to any of those products consider visiting a dermatologist for more help.

Conclusion
Having a clean face free from dirt, oil and sweat is healthy. It also makes the face look fabulous and youthful. It is therefore important to take note of the above steps and guide to help you clean and maintain a healthy face.
